The best way to start this post is by saying that Gwendolyn’s FIRST time trick-or-treating was THIS year! The year she was born, she was only 10 days old on Halloween, the year after that, I was still in the Hughes Christmas show and had rehearsals that night, but this year I took her! Aaron still had rehearsals to go to, but I took Gwen to the Branson Landing’s safe trick-or-treat event. The first store she went up to, she was timid and confused, but once they put candy in her bucket, she jumped up and down and wanted to show me her candy! She was very pleasantly surprised.
And of course, here are some pictures:
Gwen was a fairy princess, and I got EVERYTHING for just $4! Thank you, Dollar Tree! Once her costume was on, Gwen kept asking me if she looked pretty, and I can honestly say she did. I may be a biased mother, but look at her! 😍😍😍
BEFORE the trick-or-treating, Aaron and I helped Gwen decorate some ghost and bat-shaped cookies, and we watched a Halloween movie (family-friendly, of course). We were glad Aaron was able to have some fun with us! MORE pictures:
