Aleese Hughes was born in Long Beach, CA in November of 1996. Aleese is an avid reader and lover of fantasy novels. Her favorites include, but are not limited to, Harry Potter, The Stormlight Archive, and Lord of the Rings. Aleese has always wanted to be a fantasy author herself. After years of reading, and a few published stories and poems, she finally put her mind to it and began writing her books.

Books are not Hughes’s only passion, however. Having been raised around theater her entire life, Aleese has a knack for taking on the stage and charming thousands. Not only is she a part-time singer and dancer in Branson, MO, but she is also a mother of two beautiful daughters: Gwendolyn and Anna. Aleese’s husband and her children mean everything to her.
